Mob Runner
Fire soldiers from a cannon, steer them through gates to multiply your army, and take down the boss at the end of each road.
About Mob Runner
Mob Runner is a crowd-multiplier arcade game you play straight in your browser. You command a cannon at the bottom of a long road and fire a steady stream of little blue soldiers up toward the enemy. Between you and the boss at the far end are coloured gates, walls and charging red armies. Every soldier that runs through a blue or green gate is copied, so a single good line of fire can turn ten soldiers into hundreds. The red gates do the opposite: a −10 gate swallows soldiers until it breaks, and a ÷2 gate halves whatever passes through.
Each level is a road split into three to five stages. Your cannon parks at a stage and the gates in front of it stay put for the whole fight, so every shot you fire passes through them. Clear the stage by beating its timed waves or smashing its wall, and the cannon rolls on to the next stop with your surviving army marching beside it. The final stage is always a boss that walks slowly toward you. Bring it down before it, or any red soldier, reaches the cannon.
Soldiers that get far enough ahead wait at a rally line and spread into a formation across the road, so your army grows with your aim and fire rate rather than spiralling out of control. Later levels add sliding gates, forks where one lane is greedy and the other safe, climbing ×2 ×3 ×4 ×5 columns along the edges, and giant enemies that count as many soldiers at once.
Between levels you spend coins on four upgrades: fire rate, starting army, extra barrels (up to three streams of soldiers) and coin income. The road runs through four themed worlds, desert, meadow, snow and lava, each with its own boss. Thirty hand-calibrated levels lead into an endless mode that keeps replaying the hardest layouts with stronger enemies every cycle. Mob Runner is free, needs no download or account, and saves your progress automatically in your browser.

Tips and strategy
- Aim for the gate that multiplies, not the one that adds: ×2 on a big stream beats +10 almost every time.
- Keep firing through the same gate while the cannon is parked. Every shot passes it again, so a good line compounds.
- Red waves cancel soldiers one for one. Meet them head on in the middle of the road instead of letting them reach your cannon.
- On a fork, the greedy lane pays off only if you can break its wall. Early on, the steady lane is safer.
- Buy fire rate and barrels first. More soldiers through each gate is worth more than a bigger starting army.
Frequently asked questions
Is Mob Runner free?
Yes. Mob Runner is completely free to play in your browser. There is nothing to download and no account to create.
Does Mob Runner work on phones?
Yes. It is built for touch first: hold to fire and drag to steer. It also plays with a mouse or keyboard on desktop.
Is my progress saved?
Your level, coins and upgrades are saved automatically in your browser on this device. Clearing your browser's site data resets them.
What happens after level 30?
Endless mode starts. It replays the last ten calibrated layouts in rotating worlds, and enemies get 15% stronger every cycle.
Why did my army shrink after a gate?
Red gates are traps. A −N gate absorbs that many soldiers before it breaks, and a ÷2 gate halves every group that passes through it.
